MILLERS OILS NAMED AS OFFICIAL MINI CHALLENGE LUBRICANTS PARTNER

Organisers of the Vertu MINI CHALLENGE can today confirm a new partnership with Millers Oils that will see it take on the role of official lubricant supplier.

The partnership, announced ahead of the first round of the season for the Cooper category at Snetterton, will incorporate cars running in all three Vertu MINI CHALLENGE classes – with the first event for the JCW and new JCW Sport machines coming later this month at Donington Park.

The new multi-year relationship will see Millers Oils provide a range of products that have been designed and formulated in-house specifically for competition MINIs – with the highly-competitive one-make series being seen as the ideal proving ground for the Challenger by Millers Oils range.

Millers Oils has long been active on the UK motorsport scene and embarked on a similar partnership with sportscar brand Ginetta, which saw it develop a range of specialist products for its one-make championships.

The partnership between Millers Oils and the Vertu MINI CHALLENGE will help to ensure that teams and drivers in the three classes will benefit from the highest levels of performance and reliability, with cutting-edge lubricants being designed to meet the demands of top-level competition.

“We are delighted to confirm Millers Oils as our new lubricant partner for the 2024 season,” Vertu MINI CHALLENGE promoter Antony Williams said.

“Their knowledge and expertise when it comes to providing cutting-edge lubricants, and the continued drive for excellence in terms of both performance and reliability, is the perfect fit for us as a championship, and our teams will now feel the benefit with the introduction of the Challenger by Millers Oils range.

“We look forward to working with them over the coming years to ensure that the MINI CHALLENGE remains the place to race.”

Joshua Ryder Motorsport Business Development Manager at Millers Oils added his delight at the announcement of the new partnership.

“We are very excited to be supporting the Vertu MINI CHALLENGE from 2024,” he said. “The collaboration marks a key milestone for Millers Oils as the championship has become an iconic platform for up-and-coming drivers working their way up the motorsport ladder within the UK.

“Our dedication to delivering high-performance lubricants perfectly aligns with the ethos of the MINI CHALLENGE and our aim is to provide teams and drivers with specifically tailored lubricants, to enhance the performance and reliability of their cars and give them the competitive edge needed on track.

“I very much look forward to seeing the teams and drivers as they push the limits of performance, and showcase the capabilities of our products and their vehicles on the race track.”
