ENTRIES OPEN FOR 2024 COOPER CAMPAIGN

Organisers of the Vertu MINI CHALLENGE can today confirm that general entries have now opened for drivers looking to compete in the Cooper class in 2024.

The announcement comes after entries to both the JCW and JCW Sport classes opened earlier this month, with interest in the entry-level Cooper class expected to be high on the back of a successful 2023 season that featured a six-way title fight and a field of more than 30 cars.

Entries opened last week to existing competitors, with a number taking advantage of early bird access to confirm their plans to return to the grid for another year, with individual announcements from those drivers and teams to be made in due course.

As has become the norm in recent years, the Cooper class will do battle across seven meetings this season, three of which – at Thruxton, Donington Park and Silverstone – will run on the support package to the British Touring Car Championship.

There will also be two meetings alongside the British Truck Racing Championship which includes a return to the Pembrey circuit in Wales and the traditional season finale at Brands Hatch as part of the dramatic bonfire event.
