MINI CHALLENGE ANNOUNCES EXPANDED MINTEX PARTNERSHIP

The long-standing relationship between the Vertu Motors MINI CHALLENGE and Mintex will continue into the 2023 season as part of a new, expanded partnership covering the two main classes.

Mintex has been a valued partner of the MINI CHALLENGE since the start, with all cars running in the JCW and Cooper classes competing with Mintex Racing pads fitted.

That will continue to be the case again this year across a combined total of 14 weekends of highly competitive race action, ten of which will be part of the high-profile British Touring Car Championship support package.

As well as being a valued technical partner, Mintex will have increased visibility across the JCW and Cooper grids, with increased branding on all cars set to compete in 2023.

JCW entrants will run with Mintex branding on either the number plate or on the front splitter, whilst half the Cooper class field will also run with Mintex decals on the number plate.

“We’re delighted to not only continue with our support of the MINI CHALLENGE, but also to expand it for the 2023 season,” Mintex Racing’s category manager Richard Barton said.

“The championship provides us with a fantastic platform to demonstrate our Mintex Racing products, but is also somewhere where we can benefit from the valuable data and feedback we receive from the competing drivers and teams.”

Antony Williams, promoter of the Vertu Motors MINI CHALLENGE, welcomed the expanded partnership.

“We are delighted to once again be able to count on the support of Mintex for the season ahead,” he said.

“They have been a part of the ultra-competitive racing that we’ve seen in recent years and we look forward to more of the same across both the JCW and Cooper classes in 2023.”
