Ronan Pearson says he has nothing to lose heading into the final rounds of the Quaife MINI CHALLENGE this weekend at Brands Hatch.

The EXCELR8 Motorsport driver moved up to second in the standings last time out at Silverstone and makes the long trip to Kent from his Scottish base sitting 66 points down on Sam Weller.

Whilst that means Pearson will need luck on his side if he is grab the title at the death, he insisted that was ready for the fight and ready to give his all on track.

“To be in the position I’m in is incredible as you want to go into the final round with a shot at the title,” he said.

“Even though the gap to Sam is as big as it is, I believe I can still do but is certainly isn’t my championship to lose – which leaves me more relaxed about what is to come.

“I want to enjoy every moment and that is when I’m at my best, so fingers crossed I can end the year on a high.”
