MINI CHALLENGE EXTENDS SUCCESSFUL GOODYEAR PARTNERSHIP

Organisers of the Power Maxed MINI CHALLENGE and Mairon Motorsport MINI CHALLENGE Trophy can today confirm that Goodyear will continue to hold the role of official tyre supplier in a new multi-year deal.

The MINI CHALLENGE has run on Goodyear tyres since 2020 when the headline JCW class moved onto the support package of the British Touring Car Championship

Goodyear’s links to the MINI brand date back to the late 1950s, with modern day cars on both the road and the race track benefitting from the ongoing drive and desire to innovate and improve tyre technology.

Synonymous with motorsport at the very highest level, Goodyear has played a key role in the ongoing success of the MINI CHALLENGE, which is widely regarded as the leading one-make saloon car series in the UK.

The entry level Cooper class caters for drivers looking for a cost-effective route into motorsport at a high-profile level, with the JCW category running exclusively on the BTCC package utilising bespoke race cars that are seen at the perfect stepping stone for drivers looking to move into touring car or GT competition.
