HARRY HICKTON CONFIRMS 2026 MINI CHALLENGE PROGRAMME

Harry Hickton has confirmed his return to the JCW class of the MINI CHALLENGE for the 2026 season after extending his deal with the Mannpower Motorsport squad.

The teenager, who won the Cooper class crown back in 2024, will go into the new season keen to try and secure his maiden win in the category having gone close a number of times in last year.

Hickton will be able to count on support from Millers Oils having been named as the most recent winner of the company’s Challenge Scheme, with a range of other sponsors – both old and new – helping to him to bounce back from the accident he suffered in the season finale back in the autumn.

A violent barrel roll at Brands Hatch all but destroyed his car, which has not only been fully repaired over the winter, but has also been fitted with the new F66 upgrade package that will be featured on the JCW grid.

“I’m thrilled to be back in the MINI CHALLENGE this year,” he said. “We ended last season not really knowing whether we’d be back out but thanks to the support of my incredible family and sponsors, here we are.

“We went into the winter with a written off car and have worked tirelessly to get it turned around. None of what we have been able to achieve would have been possible without the incredible sponsors and partners that are on-board.

“They’ve all really stepped up and bought into the journey that we’re on; to each and every one of them I’ve got to say a big thank you. We’re got some amazing brands with us this year and I’m looking forward to announcing them all soon.

“As for my goals for the 2026 season, I want to be fighting for wins and podiums as much as possible. We’ve shown we can mix it at the very front and if we can try keep our noses clean, I don’t see any reason why we can’t challenge for the championship.”
