ADAM CURTIS SELECTS MINI CHALLENGE TROPHY FOR RACING DEBUT

Adam Curtis will kick start his racing career in the MINI CHALLENGE Trophy after confirming his spot on the grid with EXCELR8.

The Swansea-based racer will line up alongside Ashley Gregory as part of the team’s multi-car programme in the Cooper class this season, with his first competitive outing coming at Silverstone next month.

Curtis will use his entry into the most competitive one-make series in the UK to promote Hoowla, the legal software platform that he founded more than a decade ago.

“I’m incredibly excited to be racing with EXCELR8 in the MINI CHALLENGE Trophy this season,” he said. “Their reputation for developing competitive drivers and running a professional programme made them the natural choice for me.

“We’ll be running a fully Hoowla-branded car to promote Hoowla Case Management, the legal software platform I founded. Motorsport and software actually share a lot in common, constant improvement, data-driven decisions and working with a great team, so it feels like a natural fit to bring the two together on track.

“I’m really looking forward to working closely with the EXCELR8 team, and pushing hard to develop throughout the season.”

Team owner Justina Williams said she was excited to welcome Curtis into the team for his racing debut.

“We’re delighted that Adam has chosen to race with us for his first season in the MINI CHALLENGE,” she said.

“From the first moment we spoke, it was clear to see how enthusiastic he was about the opportunity to join the grid, and we look forward to helping him develop his skills over the course of the season.”
