OLIVIER ALGIERI EXTENDS EXCELR8 DEAL WITH JCW SWITCH
Olivier Algieri has re-signed for a full season with EXCELR8 in a move that will see him switch into the JCW class of the MINI CHALLENGE.
Algieri joined up with the multiple champions for the final round of the 2025 Cooper season, with his focus on trying to put a JCW deal in place for what will be his third season as part of the MINI CHALLENGE family.
Retaining the support of primary sponsor NEX3PL Global Logistics, Algieri becomes the third driver confirmed in the EXCELR8 line-up alongside defending champion Tom Ovenden and series newcomer Cemil Cipa.
“I’m over the moon to announce that I will be stepping up to the JCW class for the 2026 season with EXCELR8 and NEX3PL Global Logistics,” he said.
“This is a championship I’ve looked up to for many years, and I truly feel ready to take on the challenge. After the setbacks of last year, I’m more motivated than ever to make the most out of this opportunity and arrive in the championship ready to fight for the top spots.
“After joining forces with EXCELR8 at the tail end of 2025, it quickly became clear that this was the right move for me. The team’s experience and success within the category give me huge confidence going into the season ahead.
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to every single person who has made this season possible — especially Carlos from NEX3PL Global Logistics, Bianca from 24Productions, and Justina at EXCELR8 Motorsport for giving me this incredible opportunity.”
Team owner Justina Williams said she was delighted to name Algieri in one of her cars for the season ahead.
“We are delighted to confirm Olivier’s move into the JCW category as part of our line-up,” she said. “This was always the plan when we joined forces towards the end of 2025, and our desire to make the deal happen only increased after our weekend working together.
“Olivier showed what he could do in the Cooper class last season, and we have no doubt that he will be one to watch again this year in a JCW, and very much in the mix for some silverware.”
