KARTING GRADUATE OLIVER MEADOWS TO DEBUT WITH GRAVES

Oliver Meadows will make the move into car racing for the first time in 2022 after agreeing a deal to join Graves Motorsport’s Quaife MINI CHALLENGE Trophy line-up.

The 18-year-old makes the move into the series on the back of a successful career in karting over the last four years, which saw him secure multiple honours as part of Argenti Motorsport’s global karting team.

Meadows took top rookie in the 2020 Motorsport UK British Kart Championships and a top ten finish in the 2021 Ultimate Karting Championship, with his aim being to try and carry that form into his MINI programme.

“This move into car racing is an exhilarating moment in my motorsport career,” he said. “The Graves Motorsport team have been very accommodating and have been working closely with me as I start my car racing journey.

“I’m optimistic for the season ahead, and I’m grateful to have a supportive team and group of sponsors behind me.”

Graves Motorsport team manager, said he was pleased to bring Meadows into the ever-expanding line-up for 2022.

“Given Oliver’s experienced motorsport family, we are really pleased that he chose our Graves Motorsport family team to enter his first year of car racing,” he said. “He has already completed a number of test days and is learning from our driver coaches and his experienced teammates.

“Oliver has proven himself as a rookie champion at a British level in karting, so we have an eye on that category within the MINI CHALLENGE Cooper class for the 2022 season.”

Meadows will make his debut in the series at Pembrey in early May.
