Archie O’Brien RETURNS TO THE Cooper class FOR 2020 WITH AREEVE MOTORSPORT

Archie raced with AReeve Motorsport in 2019 and scored multiple podiums and wins.

The 16 year old from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk said “After an exciting and successful 2019 campaign I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue racing with AReeve Motorsport in Mini Challenge Cooper class into the new decade.

“Having two of the rounds alongside the British Touring Car Championship in 2020 we will be able showcase to a wider audience the skill I have gained over my racing career, not just on the televised rounds but in all seven rounds across the country. I’ll strive to emulate and elevate my results from 2019.

“I look forward to announcing my sponsorship partners very soon and would like to thank them, and my family and friends, in advance for their support in 2020.

“I can’t wait for the season to start at Thruxton in May and I’m eager to get back out on track and racing”.

Aaron Reeve of AReeve Motorsport said “Seeing Archie progress in 2019 my genuine thoughts are he will be in real contention for the championship in 2020. His wins at Donington in the torrential rain and at Snetterton from the last row of the grid show he’s a capable and tenacious driver in all situations. I expect Archie will be a regular visitor to the podium in 2020”.
