|
The final MINI Challenge race meeting for 2009 is at Snetterton on 26/27th September. The MINI Challenge arrives at the Norfolk venue with 6 drivers able to win the overall championship, 10 points cover the top 4 drivers, and with a total of 64 points available this weekend none of them can afford a non finish. With three 20 minute races scheduled over the weekend the action will be fast, furious and little tense for some of the teams and drivers. A new order has been established at the front of the Club class, kart racer Luke Caudle currently leads the Club class from Joey Powis, but only by 4 points. Joey won his place on the grid through the Race Star Scholarship, but local driver James Blyth is laying 3rd in Club class only 2 points behind Joey. In the S Class 2007 S Class Champion Ollie Mortimer is the current overall leader in the points table, but only by 4 points from Club class driver Luke Caudle. Expect him to be challenged at the front of S class by Arthur Forster and his team mate Martin Depper. Watch out for Phil house, Lee allen and Shaun King. Welshman Jason Greatrex makes a welcome return to the MINI Challenge at Snetterton as Ollie Mortimer’s team mate. You are most welcome to come to the paddock and talk to the drivers and teams.
